Using Adobe Muse
Made a musician site for Musiq Soulchild using Adobe Muse.
Analysis:
Switching the layout between desktop, tablet, phone is quite easy
Vertical/horizontal menus and slideshows are under widgets library panel. Just drag onto document.
User friendly especially with those proficient with InDesign, but can't edit the code.

Web Design Process [Mike Locke]
Some tips and advice from Mike Locke. Former UX designer for CBS Interactive, Yahoo, Fox, If it isn't obvious enough I found him on YouTube. He teaches his own web design course on his website at http://mlwebco.com/website-design-training/ . He preaches Adobe Fireworks a lot however; something Adobe stopped updating after CS6 (as most of the features were put into Illustrator after the Macromedia purchase in 2005). But his information and outlook on designing is priceless.

Creative Side of Web Design
Shawn Barry (former art director) from YouTube talks about the creative side to web designing, such as but not limited to capturing the feel of the way a website should be displayed (subject matter drives the design), following basic structure, putting yourself into the products' energy, and typography.
David Lucnguyen
David Lucnguyen is a web designer based out of Houston. His portfolio website is straight to the point. With a big "I Design and Develop Websites" clear as day and one of the first things you see when you visit. What I like about the site is that the design is clean. Color scheme of greys, orange, and blue are on point. His work has a common theme of professionalism; great placement of things. The rollovers on the menu with the circles popping out is a pretty nice touch too.

Robby Leonardi (Interactive Portfolio)
Robby Leonardi is a designer, animator, and coder. He has a super crazy portfolio. It requires you to scroll to make the character walk. You learn about him as you progress. You learn that he is from New York, loves the NBA, and works for Fox News. Also shown are his "stats" on his talents and accolades. While most portfolios are filled with sometimes text heavy information, Robby here does a great job SHOWING you.

Ethan Marcotte
Ethan Marcotte is a web designer based out of Boston. His website is clean and slick. Only 4 simple categories (About, Writing, Portfolio, and Contact. Not too much, which I think is a good thing) and his website has the smooth scroll javascript incorporated. Besides designing websites as seen on the pictures below, he speaks at conventions and writes web designing books. I love the typography style on his name on top of the page.
